How to stop Child labor... Ideas and Discussion..

HOLD EMPLOYER RESPONSIBLE ...AUTHORITIES NEED TO ENFORCE. I think whatever work he is doing should be penalized heavily so that this behavior can not continue...Authorities and Enforcement agencies need to be help accountable too... Its all upto us; Raise awareness and Raise voice... If see something say something... Keeping quiet will not solve the problem...I request all of you there ...

But the biggest fault in this is of their parents... And There must be a reason why these parents are allowing them to work... I presume its the MONEY. I don't think Parents have any long term goals for their children. They are living day by day... MONEY problem needs to be solved too.. but I think Parent need to understand, kid comes with lot of responsibilities.. I don't think parents have any clue of this..Mindset needs to change.. and we can't change it; it has to come from within parents... One idea that you can fine parents if they are doing it .. Give them less wages...MONEY Talks...Its about changing the behavior not about the fine... That money can be used in educating the child and if the same parent sends their child to school that money needs to be returned back to him..... This will help change the behavior.....

Also the Indian Govt. should introduce programs where (I know somewhere they are already running..) everywhere that if the Kid is sent to school, parents will receive the little bit monetary help (Say.. Rs. 10/20 per child per day) - just to change the behavior .. Child shall get food at school and will learn.. And there is an interest of the Govt. too... Educated Individual when grown up will add to countries productivity/Gross domestic product (GDP); literacy all the factors that improves Country.. so keeping that child in the school in early years of life will help everyone... Off-course this does not come without the investment... that should be coming from the Tax money or other means.. may be World Bank.. and the child who is getting education.. will pay back that debt as soon as he get educated and gets a job... May be 20 year after.. These are just my thoughts.. and I would probably think a bit more.. or you can suggest help me think better...
